 How to Join
 Print this page

If you are interested in joining the Liberty Fire Company as a firefighter, fire police, or social member or have any questions, please stop by the station located at 20 S. Main Street or use the "contact us" link on the left side of the page. The best time to stop at the station is Monday nights (except holidays) a few minutes before 7:00pm. Our weekly crew practice starts at 7:00pm so that is your best chance to talk to someone about membership. You can also stop at the station every first Tuesday (except holidays) of the month and fill out an application before the Company Meeting. Please get to the station around 7:30pm to allow time to fill out the application and address any concerns you may have.

If you are not sure if firefighting is right for you, stop at the station and talk to a fire officer and maybe even go out with the crew on a training night to see us in action and decide if it is something that you would like to pursue. You can also visit www.helpfightfire.com for more information on being a volunteer firefighter in Chester County.

The Liberty Fire Company also has a junior firefighters program. The minimum age for junior firefighters is 16 years old. As a junior firefighter, you will be able to learn from veteran members of the crew and apply what you learn in a safe environment. Being a junior firefighter is just as important as any other part of the team. Without junior firefighters, the senior members would not be able to perform their jobs in various emergency situations.

Again, if you have any questions, please stop by or use the "contact us" link.
