Today the Tunnel to Towers run came through Spring City and making a stop at the Spring City Legion. This run started at the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, PA and will make it way to the Pentagon and then onto The World Trade Center on September 11th to honor those that paid the ultimate sacrifice on that day in 2001.

Traffic 63 was honored to assist with the escorting and safe passage of those participants as they made their way through East Vincent Township and Spring City Borough. Engine 63 was positioned at Main & Bridge Street to not only welcome the runners to town, but to also to see them onto the next leg of their run.

The LFC wishes the Tunnel to Towers crew safe travels as they make their way to the World Trade Center. Thank you for allowing us to honor all.
