LFC members would like to congratulate member TJ Shreves on his graduation last night from the Chester County Public Safety Training Center in the Firefighter 1 program. The training has been for the last 3 months and consisted of Close to 200 hours. Tonight 9 members of LFC went to the Park Springs Apartments in East Vincent Township for their annual Trunk or Treat. The members handed out candy and hot chocolate to the kids and had plenty of smiles. The East Vincent Police Department also was there and handed out candy as well. Today the Tunnel to Towers run came through Spring City and making a stop at the Spring City Legion. This run started at the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, PA and will make it way to the Pentagon and then onto The World Trade Center on September 11th to honor those that paid the ultimate sacrifice on that day in 2001.

Yesterday the Engine & Rescue 63 joined several community partners at the annual Park Springs National Night out event. The LFC crew set up a hose spraying game for the kids and gave tours of our apparatus and equipment. This morning at 08.35 the LFC along with the Royersford Fire Department and MICU 83 were dispatched for a vehicle accident on the 400 block of Bridge Street with a reported vehicle into a house with Unknown injuries, Engine 63 arrived to a 2 vehicle crash with no reported injuries and 1 vehicle against the house.
