Santa is coming to the Spring City Area!!!

Hey Spring City and East Vincent we had a call from Santa and him , Mrs. Claus and Rudolph will be making their Fire Truck Tour on the Station 63 Fire Apparatus on Sunday December 14th starting around 11.00. This year he wanted to do something different and have our Command Vehicle follow up and collect non perishable food items and winter clothing to benefit the local food bank if you have anything ... LFC member graduates Firefighter1 program.
Liberty Steam Fire Engine Company No. 1, November 26
LFC members would like to congratulate member TJ Shreves on his graduation last night from the Chester County Public Safety Training Center in the Firefighter 1 program. The training has been for the last 3 months and consisted of Close to 200 hours. Park Springs Apts. Trunk or Treat
Liberty Steam Fire Engine Company No. 1, October 26
Tonight 9 members of LFC went to the Park Springs Apartments in East Vincent Township for their annual Trunk or Treat. The members handed out candy and hot chocolate to the kids and had plenty of smiles. The East Vincent Police Department also was there and handed out candy as well. Tunnel to Towers comes to Spring City
Liberty Steam Fire Engine Company No.1, September 09
Today the Tunnel to Towers run came through Spring City and making a stop at the Spring City Legion. This run started at the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, PA and will make it way to the Pentagon and then onto The World Trade Center on September 11th to honor those that paid the ultimate sacrifice on that day in 2001.

LFC joins community partners for National Night Out

Yesterday the Engine & Rescue 63 joined several community partners at the annual Park Springs National Night out event. The LFC crew set up a hose spraying game for the kids and gave tours of our apparatus and equipment. New Unit for LFC

The Liberty Steam Fire Engine Co. No.1 is proud to introduce our newest piece of equipment. The LFC will be working over the next few weeks to Equip, upgrade, and train on our “New to us” 2015 Polaris Ranger 800 6x6 equipped with a fire and EMS skid unit that only has 109 miles on it at the time of our purchase.
This unit is capable of discharging water at a rate of 20-65 gallons of water per minute. ... (Full Story & Photos)

Morning crash in the Borough
Liberty Steam Fire Engine Company No. 1, July 22
This morning at 08.35 the LFC along with the Royersford Fire Department and MICU 83 were dispatched for a vehicle accident on the 400 block of Bridge Street with a reported vehicle into a house with Unknown injuries, Engine 63 arrived to a 2 vehicle crash with no reported injuries and 1 vehicle against the house.
