Liberty Steam Fire Engine Company No.1, April 21

As you may have seen on social media, your Liberty Steam Fire Engine Company No.1 (LFC) underwent some station updating. These updates were only possible with the cooperation between the Borough and the LFC. These updates not only make the appearance of our station look nicer, but also allows up to provide a timely service to you.

Auto accident w/entrapment in the Borough.

Liberty Steam Fire Engine Company No.1, April 21

Today at 15.19 the LFC, Royersford Fire Department and Micu 83-2 were dispatched for an auto accident w/entrapment to the intersection of Yost Avenue and North Cedar Street. Squad 63 and Royersford Rescue 98 arrived to find one patient in the vehicle. Crews quickly extricated the patient and they were transported by Micu 83-2 to a local hospital. At 09.59 this morning LFC was dispatched to the area of 273 Chestnut Street for a reported pole fire, Squad 63 responded shortly after dispatch followed by Traffic 63 arriving on location Squad 63 found a Tractor Trailer had got caught in low hanging wires bringing two poles and several wires down in the roadway and immediately made a PECO notification. Building fire assist to Upper Providence.

Liberty Steam Fire Engine Company No. 1, January 27

Monday night at 22.23 the LFC was dispatched to assist the UPT Fire & Emergency Services on a barn fire with extension into the residence in Upper Providence Township, Squad 63 with a crew of six responded shortly after dispatch followed by Traffic 63 with two. When arriving crews assisted on relocating animals then assisted on extinguishing hay. Crews returned about 3 hours later.... (Full Story & Photos)

No Caption LFC awarded a PA Local Share Grant

Liberty Steam Fire Engine Company No.1, December 20

The LFC has been awarded a Pennsylvania Local Share Grant, sponsored by the Borough of Spring City. This grant, totaling $34,189, will be used to update the exterior of the apparatus building, which has remained largely unchanged since its construction in 1974. Planned improvements include replacing the outdated vinyl siding and updating the sign on the front of the building.

Santa is coming to the Spring City Area!!!

Hey Spring City and East Vincent we had a call from Santa and him , Mrs. Claus and Rudolph will be making their Fire Truck Tour on the Station 63 Fire Apparatus on Sunday December 14th starting around 11.00. This year he wanted to do something different and have our Command Vehicle follow up and collect non perishable food items and winter clothing to benefit the local food bank if you have anything ...
