Station upgrades
Liberty Steam Fire Engine Co. No. 1, July 10
During this week the LFC station began some much needed station upgrades. The upgrade includes all matching bay doors, new garage door openers, and safety lighting. The LFC chose doors with a lot of windows that allow the community and its visitors to see the equipment used to protect them. House saved due to quick work
Liberty Steam Fire Engine Co. No.2, June 24
This morning at 0545 hours the LFC along with Royersford Fire Department, Ridge Fire Company, and the Phoenixville Fire Department were alerted for the house fire in East Vincent on the 200 Block of Stoney Run Road.
Within 6 minutes, Ladder 63 (LFC) arrived and investigated. Power was quickly secured to the home and crews located the area of fire. Rescue 65 (PFD) arrived and all crews began opening ... (Full Story & Photos)

Accident in Spring City Borough
Liberty Steam Fire Engine Co. No.1, June 18
At approximately 1630 hours LFC along with MICU83, and Station 72 (Chester County Collapse Team) were dispatched to the auto accident with reports of a car into the building with a person trapped and unconscious. Chief 63 immediately requested Montco Rescue 98 to be added per our daytime response procedures.

Liberty Steam Fire Engine Co. No.1, June 04
Starting at 0957 hours the LFC and RFD were dispatched to Cedar & Vincent Streets in Spring City Borough for an accident with Entrapment. Chief 63 quickly arrived and found a single car accident with the vehicle partially in a construction ditch and the occupied appeared uninjured. The driver appeared to be having a medical emergency. In 1957 the Liberty Steam Fire Engine Company erected a monument at the Zion Lutheran Church honoring the LFC members who served our country during wartime. For the last 16 years, the LFC has teamed up with the Spring City Legion Post 602 in honoring our veterans and first responders.
